Our Journey
According to the family's oral history, the earliest known ancestor of the Alemada lineage was Aiyanna Balya, believed to have migrated from the Kannur–Malabar region during the mid-sixteenth century. Our founder settled in Kirgur Village, establishing the roots of what would become a thriving and respected family within the Kodava community.
This migration, captured in family narratives passed down through generations, represents more than just a geographical movement—it symbolizes the determination and pioneering spirit of our ancestors who sought to build their legacy in the hills of Kodagu.
